Right , going over to Florida on Sunday for 2 weeks and i have been given 400$ to spend there by my parents so i will buy clothes etc etc and was thinking about buying fifa and some other games as they will only be 50$ which is 25£ , so does anyone know if i buy it will it still work over here ?

Yes, PS3 games are multi-region. About 50% of blu-ray movies are also mult-region, so stay away from these unless you know beforehand.

I dont know when FIFA 09 is out in the states though, it may or may not come out on the 3rd of october, when the UK one comes out.

Morrisons currently sell top 10 games for PS3 for £25, so bear that in mind, as you wouldnt be able to trade in the US ones here.
