Downloaded some various series like friends and also some films that split up into to cd's. My question is, how to a get these all onto one dvd when burning. I have Nero 7.5 and i could burn 1 avi and stretch it to dvd size and quality but that takes about 5 hours!!!!!

I wouldnt mind that if i was putting say 6 episodes of friends on one dvd, but as it currently stands I would only get 1 on a dvd.

Have you tried an AVI joining tool. The 2 I have are VirtualDub and Easy AVI joiner. You should be able to find something at download.com.

Download *cough* i mean "buy" something called "ConvertXtoDVD"

It's simple to use for AVIs and allows you to burn several different AVI files to one disc. Its an absolute piece of piss (or at least it would be if indeed i had ever used it to to burn anything i'd allegedly downloaded to disc)

*cough*

I use NTI CD and DVD Maker and it's drag and drop

Nero vision will let you put on several AVI files (depending on size obviously) onto one DVD.

However, the more AVI's you put on, the quality of each episode will drop.

There is also a merge button in the bottom left hand corner of one of the setup screens, where you can join 2 avi files together.

I use Roxio and burn them as a Data Dvd which allows me to get six 700mb avi's on one dvd. I can then play them either on my computer or on my divx dvd player.

I haven't used Nero for ages but if remember right you open burning rom and burn as an iso instead of a dvd video.

Ok so i *cough* bought this one. The process seems fine, but when it comes to burning my rer-writer appears as a viable option, but no blank disk seems to register.
