Another ex Player puts the boot into Rangers

I am catholic. But I have always been catholic. The
people at Rangers didn't really like it, so I had to be
respectful.

I love how simply providing first hand evidence of Rangers' continued sectarianism is seen as "anti-Rangers bile".

Proteus Maximus
It's really odd he never had any problems here and was well loved.

Strange too when you consider how many of our players have blessed themselves over the years.

It seems to be taken out of context.

From an outsider's point of view, you're bang on. Rocksie seems to be the Celtic equivalent of the rabid idiot that was PTB209 or whatever his username was. Using War dead in a pointscoring exercise truly is dreadful.

You're exactly right these two idiots (you can add Proteus Maximus or whatever his name is) are the reason people laugh at the OF truly appalling individuals. Talk about playing up to stereotypes. dry.gif

I take it you went down one team too many on the drop down box when selecting the team in your profile?

What's wrong with this one?

Personally I find Arteta's admission absolutely flabbergasting!

As for Rocksie67, from what I can see he has an extraordinary gift for hitting the nail on the head.

Apart from the all stuff about WW2, which was essentially an imperialist dispute between two sets of warmongering huns.

Tactical only I suppose ph34r.gif canny fault his post in terms of honesty, just seems to me that we give ammunition to non Celtic fans by indulging in attacking Rangers in this manner, rebuffing attacks on us by all means. Rocksie67 has absolutely the correct tactic IMO on the Famine song

Im sorry Bhoys if I upset anyone .

I have a confession (I usually go once a month and especially on first Fridays) to make I have Hun blood in me

My Granny O Malley lived by the sea just up from Ballybunnion County Kerry . During the war my Granny became famous for her Irish Stew . U boats from all over the Atlantic used to stop off outside her wee cottage for some good food and some well needed rest . It is said that my Grannys Irish Stew became so famous that Hitler himself ordered a regular pot to be taken back by U boats to Germany . In fact my Granny was awarded the Golden Lantern for services to the Reich .
She used to light her lantern every night to guide the U boats in safely .

It was during this time my Granny met My Grandpa Rheinhart . My Grandpa Rheinhart was captain of U boat 248 , Its kind of sad . My granny had good nrews to tell Rheinhart that she was in the family way (with my Dad) , but unfortunately before she could tell him something tragic happened . Other U boat Captains told her that Rheinharts sub had been sunk during a battle with a convoy .
My Granny was devastated but refused to accept that he would not return . Until her death at 96 faithfully my Granny used to light her lantern every night in the hope that her beloved Rheinhart would return .

So Im sorry if I upset you . I have nearly admitted my Hun background before

I love how simply twisting the facts around the origins of lebensraum and the Nazi aggressors turns it into "anti British bile". YOur bitterness and lack of perspective shines through, yet again.

On a serious note I have never seen a Rangers player bless themselves at Ibrox since Boli.

shock horror, not exactly news, i think we had more Roman Catholics than Celtic at the time, it's when Irish Politics get involved it gets messy not a question of True Faith like that of a true gent "Tommy Burns" RIP, he was respectful didn't shout it from the rafters but didn't he show us how it should be done!

Not that I care what you think, but I'd like to point out my comment was sarcastic. Clearly everyone else noticed this, and that's why nobody called me a moron.

Beyemystic was hinting at an anti catholic agenda on my part, so I played upto it. I don't actually mind Catholics. They're alright.

However he certainly bothered some of your fellow huns and Linfield huns a few years ago when he came on at Windsor Park. The irony being he was blessing himself as a Georgian Orthodox and not a Catholic.
