Another comfortable win for us today. Dundonald are a complete pub team who must be a contender for relegation this year. I'm looking forward to our game against nitten next week, hopefully they will give us a game. It will be make or break game for nitten cause if they dont beat us we will be 11 points ahead of them and they've got no chance of catching from that far back.

At this rate the cookie will have league tied up by christmas. Bring on the super league next year.

I heard they should of had the game sewn up by half time as every time they went forward they looked like scoring and missed several sitters including an open goal from three yards. When you boys play a decent team you wont be so lucky.
I do hope penicuik do well this year but lets not get carried away, you boys are still a long way off being the finished article.

Both teams had chances in the first half but when fozzie got the hook at half time we looked far more solid. Then colin mcdonald came on and gave a bit more quality going forward and it became a one horse race. Snowy got it wrong with his starting 11 but to his credit realised it and put it right before it was late.
We can only beat the teams in front of us and I hope they underestimate us as much as many other people are. Bring on nitten.

What was the team on sat and who scored for Penicuik>?

Moonie has been hot and cold since his arrival, he had a good game against blairgowrie, scoring a hat trick but fairly average in the other two games. Think he may well be in and out the squad as the season progresses.

Starting team sat, back 4- Kris steel, matt lynch, brian foster,graham gallagher. midfield 4- ross montgomery, keith barr, kevin milne, ryan gay. up front- martin cameron, darren moonie.

Scott gibb replaced foster at half time, then colin mcdonald came on for montgomery but played up front with moonie dropping back to left mid. Finally bryan ryrie came on to replace keith barr.

If snowy had started with the right team we would of won a lot more comfortable. I don't think we will be far away with the players we've got only problem is snowy still hasn't a clue as to what his strongest eleven is. Lets hope someone tells him before the nitten game or it could be another humping.

I know from watching bonnyrigg he never missed any of our trips to fife and further afield,to be honest I'm surprised you actually won without him playing. Dont get too carried away with your start though as there is a long way to go.

Bluebell had several boys missing but still managed to have the better of the the first half missing a couple of clear cut chances. There's no doubt that the 2nd half was pretty much all penicuik and overall you undoubtedly deserved your win... as the scoreline suggests, but not only are some of your comments disrespectful, they are also innccurate and i think you're getting carried away.

One of my mates plays with you lot, so i wish you all the best, but acting the big shot and disrespecting other teams only sets yourself up for a fall.

We had a few players out as well, plus we had fozzie playing in the first half to give you boys a chance and you still couldn't take advantage of it. As for setting myself up for a fall, I intend to ride the wave as long as poss, if it crashes so be it. We cookie fans haven't had much to shout about over the last few seasons so I intend to enjoy it while it lasts.

Saw them a few times at the tail end of last season when they beat Lithgae' & Bathgate.

This year they have won two home games but as long as they keep a lid on the discipline they should go up.

Cookie playing with a make shift team today showed great character and were rarely troubled by a poor nitten team. On this showing nitten could be fighting at the wrong end of the table nevermind challenging for promotion.

What's happened to the biggest sceptic in junior football, you seem to be a bit quite after your win at weekend. Is snowy now copying bonnyriggs old 3-5-2 formation, seemed to do the trick. I see your pal Meikle was back playing too, looked far to good for that division.

I'm as delighted as the next Cuikie fan with our start to the league campaign but unlike many fans I don't intend to get carried away after 4 games. If we win our next 4 games I might start thinking about promotion but we have a long way to go. As for snowy getting a bit of credit, it will take more than a few wins ( against poor opposition ) to change my opinion on his ability as a manager but i'm still hoping.

I know there seems to be a few people desperate to know my identity so here's what i'll do, if Penicuik are still top of the league at Christmas I'll wear a t-shirt with i'm the cookie monster on it at our first home game after the new year.
