Good man!

When I broke my leg at work they took me to the Queen Margaret too. I was snottered on gas and air and remember asking the guy wheeling the bed if he was still playing football. He just looked at me like I was daft.

From my experience it wouldn't surprise me if getting the arm put back in place was more painful than the initial dislocation.

Get better soon Gareth!

Morphine is indeed a crazy crazy thing. I got it after i got my wrist popped back in for the second time and when i woke up all i could say was "Oh thank you very much, Doctor". Then i would lie down again for another minute, and then get up say the same thing.

It was the day of the first Rovers v Cowdenbeath derby at SP, we got beat 3-1. It didn't matter cause i was still off my tits on morphine whilst at the football.

Rover on morphine shock! Bet you even stay in chinatown as well.... wink.gif

Seriously I was given morphine after I was in a car crash years ago. People turned up, and I blamed the troll for crashing the car laugh.gif

Ive dislocated my knee 3 times, but luckily the bugger just popped back in straight away though each time.

Gas and air is wonderful stuff though, I remember asking the paramedic why he was flying.

I think dislocations tend to be about getting swelling down/removing fluid once the joint is back in place, so this should hopefully mean he isnt out for too long.

Horrid injury though, seeing one of your joints sticking out your body is just minging!
