kilsyth drew 1-1 v the bankies

heard talbot got humped 4-1 v the medda, and the lok won 3-2

Kelty Hearts 1-3 Bonnyrigg Rose

Three goals midway through the first half finished this game of as a contest, Some shocking defending in the first half didn't really help. Bonnyrigg sat back second half soaking up the pressure and hitting Kelty on the break, which they did rather effectively creating a number of clear cut chances. A message for the Kelty player who dived in the box looking for a penalty for the second week in a row. It's not big and it's not clever and its pretty embarrasing to watch.

Lok won 3-2 at Petershill thanks to a stoppage time winner from Bryan Dingwall. Miserable weather and a game watched by around 450 folk.

Biggest headlines though will be based around the 17 yellow cards (inc 2 double yellows) issued by whistler Iain Craig. I also heard that a player was issued another red card after the game though that's not confirmed.

Feck sake was it a really dirty game or was it just one of those refs who book people for the slightest thing to make a name for themselves?

sauchie game was cancelled 20mins before ko against west calder there was a patch on the pitch 6ftby6ft which was "SOFT" it was an incredible decision. Both sets of committee, management.players all agreed the park was more than playable the only person who didnt think so was the referee his whole attitude from the moment he walked into the park was questionable, im truely lost for words why he refused to play the game it still hasnt really sunk in yet.

Don't know what's happening in junior football these days esp in the West but the Referee's seem to be really going mad with the cards. Don't know whether there is a purge going on or what but the card count at Petershill seems more like something out of Copa America

Robert McPhee (Petershill) 36 (forgotten why)
David Merriman (Petershill) 42 (handbags with Downs)
Robert Downs (Pollok) 42 (handbags with Merriman)
Kris Robertson (Pollok) 45 (dissent)
Neil Parry (Petershill) 52 (dissent)
Stevie Dallas (Petershill) 56 (late on Aitchy, 2nd yellow)
Jamie Coulter (Petershill) 56 (dissent)
Jamie McCarroll (Petershill) 56 (dissent)
Stevie Aitchison (Pollok) 69 (trip)
Derek Wingate (Pollok) 72 (foul?)
Stephen McGowan (Petershill) 74 (handbags with Aitchison, a few blows landed)
Stevie Miller (Pollok) 74 (booked instead of Aitchison [afaik] for part in brawl with McGowan)
Davie McGeown (Pollok) 81 (dissent)
Brian MacKay (Pollok) 86 (foul)
Bryan Dingwall (Pollok) 88 (dissent)
Derek Wingate (Pollok) 90 (dissent, 2nd yellow)
Derek Wingate (Pollok) full time (red card for foul and abusive language)

IMHO not a dirty game, but there were definitely a few deserved bookings. Some very harsh indeed.

Greenock 3 - 0 Newmains, the word gash pretty much sums it up. Greenock did miss 2 penalties though, their manager could be heard giving his players the hair dryer treatment in the dressing room.

The results are often reached by the link in the bottom box in the right hand column before the individual leagues are updated

We struggle to defend a lead - and recently we've struggled to defend at all. The latter may have been sorted with the return of a player or two but the former is still a problem. Blackburn were unable to capitalise - other teams will no doubt benefit unless we get our act together

Love kicked out at a forfar player for standing between him and the ball at a free kick, which he was given a straight red for. Got a second red after having words with the referee and refusing to leave the park. The Forfar player involved was given a yellow.

A few minutes later, the same forfar player was give a second yellow for the same offence. He said something to the ref as well, which prompted him to recieve a second red. Not sure if this player was Duell or not.

Don't suppose anyone will be surprised to hear that Love was acting like a petulant child again. He has had a ridiculous amount of sendings off in the last 2 or 3 seasons.
