I would like to announce that, as of today, I no longer wish to be considered for a plce in the Scottish national side.
Kejan
I'm the opposite, Scored 4 goals on Saturday in a 6-1 win - would love to throw my hat in the ring to the cauldron of International football , try and nick that winner in Reykjavik if GB's reading.
Duracell Bunny

To answer the original question, probably yes in the following order if the blue trend continues..

Ferguson (to extend his ever-shortening career)
Broadfoot (for being labelled 'limited' by the manager)
McGregor (for not getting a chance)
Miller (fed up with the fans?)
Adam (for never ever being selected in a squad again...pls!)

I'm still waiting for Capello to give me a phone after I stopped off and pissed in a shop doorway in the middle of London earlier this year after a night out with my brother. Surely that qualifies me. After all, it's better than the piss they've already got (boom boom!)

For the record, I'd tell him where to stick his call-up. If I'm not considered better than Joe Cole, I'm not interested laugh.gif

I have been considering my position for a while, since before the italy game in fact, and I think the time is right to remove my availability for selection.
I ahve a job ahead of me consolidating my position in my amateur team, so i think its best i concentrate on that.

plus, Burley's a throbber

I would like to announce my retirement. The fact that Kirk Broudfoot got called up instead of me is my reason!
Deeboy
After exhausting talks with my family, my previous club and my cabinet minister I have decided it is in the best interests of Scotland if I keep playing on. Not if George Burley selects me though... wink.gif
Gypsy till I die
I no longer wish to be considered for Scotland however I now wish to be considered for ROI. I once did a jobby in Dublin and it's what the jobby would have wanted. Come and get me Trappatoni!

After a lot of soul searching i have, with a heavy heart, decided to make way for the younger generation of top class left sided players to come through and am announcing my retirement from International football with Scotland.

Having said that, i will throw my hat back into the ring when we qualify for a major competition, when we get a manager i think will give me a game or when the SFA decide to pay me for playing for my country.

I've talked it through with my family and friends and i would like to announce I'll be retiring from International Football after the World Cup.

I've had a brilliant career, the highlight being playing at Merkland in front of 7 people, a truly wonderful experience. But it seems that my talents are continuing to go unnoticed.

I will still be available for selection for the next 2 years, during which i predict i will hit peak shape and fitness levels. I'm just feeling a bit let down that i haven't been called up lately, especially when you take into account the amount of young children wearing Scotland Luca Toma replica tops.

George, if you're reading this - Step up, or you will lose me.
Whistle Blower
I am retiring from International football for the qualifiers for the upcoming South African World Cup in 2010, due to the fact South Africans hate black people.

I would like to announce that I am still available for selection for the National side, as it would be a fantastic honour and achievement for me to represent my country. after several games of 7 aside at KHS astroturf, and a few 11 aside games at the Bevi park, I feel international football is the next logical step in my blossoming career. My wide variety of skills also allow me to play in any position, although I do not like playing centre-half.

Don't worry George, I won't let you down unlike all these other cowards announcing retirement smile.gif
myshkin
I an retiring from International football to spend more time doing my other job as a Tory MP.

That should allow me to spend more time with my family and of course give me more time to follow my real passion of filching* in a gimp suit.

Me? Not at all.

I think Burley may have done something to offend them though.
The only one of the above I was being serious about was Ferguson though - would not be surprised if he retires from Scotland without ever playing for us again.
lee macculloch
Think im going to withdraw my resignation biggrin.gif
Scotty Tunbridge
I am now retired from the United Arab Emirates.
