I got a copy last week. I played a couple of hours, its very slow and laborious, its not a patch on the lord of the rings RTS for the consoles.

Can't get the hang of it at all, the controls are awful, the battles are too fast and its hard to keep up. I had hoped for something along the lines of the classic age of empires format, but sadly it wasn't to be.

Aye, I suppose it was wishful thinking that it might be good. Would really like to play Warhammer Online but I need a comp with the following

2.5 GHz P4 processor or equivalent - 1 Gigabyte RAM - A 128 MB Video Card, with support for Pixel Shader 2.0

Any idea what that would set me back?

You could get a extremely decent gaming pc now for £400-500 complete with monitor.

Dosent take much to run Warhammer at full whack anyway.

This is the average MMORPG player, out in the open. Sadly he is so disoriented with the outside world that he keeps up his warrior prince persona...

Is Warhammer online a MMORPG I take it? How does it compare to Final fantasy and WoW etc? I loved FF11, ruined my life for two years.

Its similar to WOW (very similar to WOW actually), has nicer more up to date graphics, im still rolling a few characters to see which i like the feel of best.

Currently i still prefer wow, but may be swayed, ive been playing WOW on and off for 4 years though, so change is hard to accept.
