How many times did the ref stop the game. Must have stopped the game every 30 seconds. Was a even enough game but the ref lost the plot big time, he sent a vale player off for winning a 50/50 challenge and booked 13 players in total, don't think i've ever seen a ref spoil a game so much. Did not think it was a dirty game but everytime someone went in with a hard but fair tackle the ref stopped the play or worse still booked the player. Also how poor was the Huntly support last night every time i go to Christie Park the home crowd gets smaller and smaller and Huntly are doing well just now. In the end im kind of glad the game never went into extra time it was bad enough watching the refs 90 mintues performance so another 30 minutes would have been a nightmare and im also glad it was a cup game and not a league game, thought a few of our bigger name players let us down last night and we missed John Coutts also who was working. Can't wait for Mike Mckenzie to come back need someone who can play some football in the middle of the park but apart from that its been a great start to the season and hopefully we get back to winning ways on saturday at Lossie.
