The Notorious JMS
So Im in the middle of downloading tunes to my mp3 player for going away to Macedonia, and I just recently added Itunes, and I have some music on there that I would like to put on, but they are all MPEG4 sad.gif Anyway of converting them to MP3???

My player uses SD card... wink.gif Cheers in advance for any assistance...

Nope they can be Audio files too...they are MPEG4 Audio files...

Protected files are the ones you'll have bought on iTunes legally. You can't convert them, but you can burn them onto CD and then import them from the CD. It's a bit of an annoyance, but it's their way of stopping file-sharing.

I presume you could author an ISO image and mount it onto something like DAEMON to bypass the CD burning stage?

You can usually take files and folders together and convert them into an ISO image. I think that's normally what your computer does when it writes to a CD/DVD burner. The difference is that you can just create the ISO image, save it to your Hard Drive and then use DAEMON Tools Light (easily found on google) which "mounts" the image as though it was another CD drive.

It's quite useful.
