Whitburn aint that great.go onto their messageboard and read all their fans moaning about their team.

Rather you than me. A complete dump of a place with the worst changing rooms I've ever seen in any level of football - the shower was just a hose and the toilet wasnae even plumbed in. Also got the wierdest looking committee on the planet - think the Addams Family meets Carry on Screaming.

Make sure that you get your guarantee off them before they try to convienently forget about it or fob you off wi the old " the treasurers away hame" excuse.

Having said that they seem to have had some reasonable results this season.

Back in the juniors after the manager folded the team two games into last season, when the squad was down to its bare bones for a Sectional League Cup against Ashfield, when most of them went to watch Celtic in a televised game. Have brought in mostly players from under-21 football and I was told at the wekend "cant defend to save themselves." Lost 2-0 at home to St Roch last Saturday in the league, and the Candy Rock had a really poor Sectional League Cup campaign,so that should give you an idea of the standard of Glasgow Perthshire.

Musselburgh v Bo Ness

rolleyes.gif One of the reasons I look forward to the Scottish, especially in the early rounds when there's so many possible draws, is the chance to go somewhere and play somebody different, but I'm sick of bloody looking at that lot after playing them four times last season. (Three times since around March time.) Plus they'll almost certainly beat us. Ah well. It's the league we're interested in anyway...
