Given your username, would we be wise in thinking that you're giving an unbiased opinion? Or is it only the town you dislike?

Jackie was a fantastic player but that doesnt make you a good manager/coach.
I think haddington would go for someone with a proven track record

The old cliché is 'a results driven business'. The manager has presided over 3 and a bit seasons of continued improvement. We've had shite League Cups before and gone on to do well in the league - I think it would be unwise to ask him to chuck it on the basis of a similar start.

Haddington r supposed to be a rich club, but you dont see them going out and spending big money,or do they not trust Bowmaker to spend it wisley.A couple of experienced players and the Hi Hi,s could be serious challengers.but not sure hes the right man for the job in hand.Dont get me wrong i would rather see them go up than say Broxburn or the Dale.

If we'd got a quid for every time we've heard that, we *would* be a rich club

seeing as Hadyingtong seem to like signing Dunbar castoffs then surely the man in the hot seat should be Jock L?

haddington wil finish mid table if they are lucky.. average team with average players and a below average manager.
time for george to call it a day and get someonelse in and take the hi hi:s to where they should be and thats promotion
i almost signed for haddington 3 yrs ago but got warned the manager was abit of an arse and decided agains tnand went to the training a couple of times and it was well below par, good players but not good team, bowmaker for the sack now

Bowmaker is a tube
he has no manger skill at all,
prime example,
Kevin Haynes, Dale McCall, Sean Ronaldson.
were all at lothian under Bowmaker, he let haynes go as he played him right mid, look what happened to him, berwick top scorer and won the Junior Scottish, he tried to freeze Mccall out the game for a while cause he wouldnt pay the signing fee back, Lothian DID NOT pay signing fees back then, he went on to hit 90 goals in 4 years at Preston, bad injury has stopped him, Sean Ronaldson won the league and scottish cup with Whitehill and he was picked for the scotland non league squad,
i know these are all to do with the east of scotland league and from what i hear and i have saw recently, the juniors are way better, now i ask, if he cant manage in the EOS how the hell is he still in a job in Junior,
the man is a tit

Heard over the weekend that Mr Bowmaker offered his resignation which was refused by the club. Seems strange!

Strange indeed. To be filed with the 'high 6-figure sum in the bank', I reckon
From the East there came

First post!! Saw Haddington V Stoneyburn last Saturday. Hardly ever at a junior game but on this display the managers job would seem to be safe. 36 24 36 is a six figure sum but is any football in such good shape?
