As a suppoerter of the club and a keen supporter of our youth teams it was great to see how things are going by the inclusion of the free magazine in the club programme.

I read it to day at half time rather than wait in the pie que and find some interesting points and i liked the Coach in focus section which is a kind of who does what interveiw and is a real eye opener to what goes on behind the scenes at the club.

Have a good season lads and kee doing what you are doing its great to see the youngsters coming through.

PS

Great win today ...................

I read that too.

Good to see.

There will probably be 4 of these newsletters a season, just to keep the supporters updated on how things are going.

Also, there is a form in the newsletter that you can return to be put on the clubs mailing list, which gets you more regular information on the youth teams.

Lots of positive feedback for this, which is good to see.

Great idea.... the club really are gaining a fine reputation within the Scottish game with regard to youth development . The coaches are doing a fine job by all accounts .

Watched the u16s win 8-0 against Stranraer on Sunday .
Solid performance with some good football and some smashing goals too..... topped off with a well deserved clean sheet .... so credit to the defence and goalies as well as the midfield and the attack.

The u16s are definitely improving week by week and I have a feeling this side could do really well this season....... biggrin.gif

Alloa's u16s returned to form after a very disappointing performance and result at QoS last week to win 1-0 against Clyde at Recreation Park on Sunday .
The boys have now won all three of their home YI fixtures this season and also managed to secure their 2nd clean sheet in 3 games .

Happy days . smile.gif
