To deflect attention from my own pitiful team can I ask the Saintees if Midge has been found out yet?

He tends to shirk responsibility when his team hits a sticky patch ye see. smile.gif

You on drugs that guy will be playing Premier Division very soon.

He is the only bright thing for Saints at the moment. mad.gif

Like at the end of last season? rolleyes.gif

I won't argue that he could be inconsistent, but he has the makings of a very good midfield player at this level.

(and a better player than Jamie 'Lindberg' Stevenson tongue.gif )

That's still wide open to debate. Definitely a better attitude.

I actually do rate Stevenson's ability quite highly, but he was certainly a player who hid, and his attitude (as you say) certainly seems questionable. But it is disappointing that it didn't work out for him with us.

A more appropriate question for you would be......Allan McManus - Has He Been Found Out Yet?

Yes.
I'll take your corresponding answer as a "No comment" then?

millar is our best player just now although that isn't a hard thing to be sad.gif

I know who is better off - it ain't the team who got Allan fecking McManus anyway.

Thought Millar was one of the few bright spots for St Johnstone today, even if he isn't a right midfielder.

Millar is one of the few guys who would probably escape criticism for us at the moment. He got MoM today but I didn't think he had a particularly good game. What he has done is built up enough credits to be excused a slighltly below par showing.

What do Morton fans feel his best position is?

Well, he is actually, depending on manager's preference.

Horses for courses and such like.

He is perfectly capable of controlling the pace and momentum of a game from the centre of the park, but he is equally adept at being a nuisance to opposition defences on the right wing.

Whether on the right or in the centre though, he always gets forward and always gets in amongst the goals; scoring or providing.

I think the St Johnstone fans are happy enough to believe what they see.

Controlling the pace and momentum of a game?
They've lost 3 out of their opening 5 in the First division - he's hardly Zinedine bloody Zidane is he?
I think the results show that said statement is mince: as, funnily enough, did our results last year.

Millar is best in the centre of midfield. It's his energy, drive, and runs into the box which characterises his good play IMO (but that's only if he's playing well, he can be inconstant).

Incontinent? He's not old enough surely wink.gif
stuart.
I preferred him on the right of midfield actually, could beat a man and put a decent ball in. Also worked hard and tracked the opposing winger well. But that was when I thought Stevenson would be ok in the middle.

Ton fans should take the hint. McLaughlin leaves the club and does well, when he was pish for us and never played for the jersey. Millar leaves the club and does well, when he was accused of not making the effort.

The players that left didn't want to be Morton players. It's becoming obvious.
