Me and my girlfriend are moving in together in a couple of weeks and im looking at broadband packages. I currently have 16mb with unlimited data usage a month, but to cut costs will be looking to move down to 8mb with 40gb data usage.
The questions I have are is 8mb still fast enough for playing the Xbox online without any lagging? and also does playing the Xbox online count towards my 40gb data usage?

It will be fast enough, and yes, any data you use will go towards your 40gb, but playing the games is next to nothing in the bandwith stakes, just the demos and such like will eat into your 40gb.
