Alan Morgan of Killie has joined us on a 6 month loan deal, according to the evening telegraph.
Thought he was more of a winger myself, but hopefully he'll do the job for us quite nicely. We lost out to Killie previously for his signature so it's obviously a player McInnes rates. At least we now have an option of our own at left back.

Saints in left back shocker!
I was under the impression he was a left winger aswell. If McInnes was trying to get him before he is obvioulsy a decent player. Thank f**k for that then.
Edited due to idiocy.

He's not a trialist. He's one of us
played against us last year and he was decent. will do a decent job for you if he can play left back as well as he did at winger last year.

That doesn't stop him being OUR player. He's available for selection and is under contract until the end of this year. He's ours

Spot the error.

This post was made in jest. I think that McInnes has made some very good signings, he just seems incapable of getting them playing together.

please take him permantley, one of the shitest players to pull on a killie shirt (not that often, thankfully) all he does is run about doing nothing

Wow. Opposition fan makes disparaging remarks about former player shocker.

McInnes was after Morgan in december of last year, so it's hardly a panic buy. A player who he wanted a while ago became available again and he's been brought in.

Morgan has had 1 start and 1 sub appearance since joining in January. It appears he was a panic signing when we had a massive injury crisis, because Jefferies clearly doesn't rate him.
Apparently he played OK up at Airdrie in the cup, but he looked very limited when he came on at half-time at home to Falkirk last season. I also saw him come on in pre-season against Wolves and he looked completely out of his depth.
He played on the left of midfield in all of these games, and I haven't seen him playing left-back at all.
He is one of the slowest players I've ever seen, and he looks unfit. The main positive aspect of his game seems to be his sweet left-foot - his corners and set pieces are decent.
I'm glad we've managed to shift him off the wage bill (I presume Saints will pick them up), but I'm a bit disappointed because I have St Johnstone on my accumulator, and I don't think he'll do a good job for them. Perhaps he'll be OK in the 1st division though.

Yeah, I actually regretted picking St Johnstone as soon as I put it on. I should have known to steer well clear of the Scottish 1st Division because it is one of the most unpredictable leagues around.
