I feel your pain. I remember when players of the calibre of Scott Boyd and Darren Brady were permanent fixtures in our side.
I was expecting Clyde to be a bit better this season, but the Queens Park chaps we were interested in seem to have been quite poor so far.

Apart from not getting promoted, I usually dread the away games at Queen of the South. But no wonder, after going to Dumfries twice last season. On both occasions I knew we weren't going to win, but the lure of the Townhead chip shop on the way back home proved to tempting.

2. Four humpings from QOS
3. An ignominious early Scottish Cup exit at the hands of <<insert appropriate non-league team here>>
4. My early season First Division predictor lead disintegrating into a steaming pile of mediocrity
5. Getting knocked out of a cup competition by lower league opposition

Anything other than promotion will be a bit disastrous.
Other than that, drawing United in one of the cups and getting cuffed 5-1 (Scott Robertson giving a goal-scoring, man of the match performance, Wilkie scoring a hat-trick of headers, and Paul Dixon coming off the bench to net a deflected shot from 40 yards. Antoine-Curier grabs Dundee's consolation goal, but Levein then swoops for him in the transfer window).

That's a pretty bold statement. Campbell led us to the top of the league for a brief spell during our first season back in the division. Come March, we were hurtling towards the foot of the table and he was out on his arse.
Excuse me if I'm wrong, but you still have a small squad (you have two recognised strikers, right?) and are relying of Griffiths for the majority of your goals. One injury to the lad could see you in serious shit.
