This is more about the players... when you watch the EPL and such on tv the players have pretty elaborate celebrations...eg. Robbie Keane, Lomana Lua Lua, Carlos Tevez....etc

These days on the First Div the players seem to just run and hug each other but have you seen any good celebrations from your team? Airdrie fans need not reply....i jest.

Leigh Griffiths is beginning to show a wee superstar spark with some of his celebrations but mine has to go to Lee Makel for his Karate Kid celebration

I remember Adam Strachan attempting a shitty little front flip at Airdrie, but I love seeing players celebrate with fans and enjoyed Damon's group hug with the fans at Ibrox.

There's no way on this earth a player should be booked for celebrating with his own fans in such a manner.

Owen Coyle had the classic i figure in the air as he ran towards the fans.

Fernandez scored number 4 or 5 against morton at Cappielow with a cheeky lob covered his mouth in mock shock - very amusing at the time.

Maddog McGowan scoring a late goal (equaliser) trying to slide on his knees towards the fans but it had been hot for a few days and the park had dried out so he didnt slide at all and fell over (looked like he could have done himself an injury!)

That was the one I was thinking of - I wish someone had a clip of it because it really was funny as f**k. One of the worst failed celebrations you'll ever see and at the time I thought he'd done his cruciate. He looked spring-loaded! laugh.gif

Chris Templeman scoring against Kille in the Scottish cup and running determinedly and dramatically towards the corner flag, to do what looked like an attempt at one of those really cool powerslides on your knees.

Needless to the big man buggered it up (or couldn't be arsed) and gave up and just flopped onto his back instead. Tremendous.

Physios and managers must crap themselves sometimes when they see players fannying around after goals. What was the name of the Arsenal player that Tony Adams (?) dropped after a Cup Final? I'm fairly certain he broke his arm.

to be fair I think that was his only goal for the diamonds and he was right to go a bit mental but it was very very funny

It was Steve Morrow, I think.
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Robert Earnshaw's front flip and wee dance in the snow at East End Park back in 98 was outstanding. It was the only thing which brightened up an otherwise miserable day.

Juan Sara
Nacho Novo after he scored a penalty at Tannadice right infront of the United fans, he put his finger to his lips telling them to shhh.

Shaw, Britton etc - the CATERPILLAR.

That was the time when the players were performing all manner of celebrations every week. laugh.gif

Anything by Damon Gray.

The caterpillar was performed on more than one occasion at Tannadump the week before the Coca Cola Cup Final against Aberdeen. Shaw double and big Morten Wieghorst securing a 3-2 win. Tremendous.
