Ironically another current City player - Martin Petrov - was sent off against England on his Bulgaria debut some years ago not long after coming on as a sub.
Lionel Messi was sent off against Hungary on his debut I believe.
Wasn't Maurice Ross sent off on his Scotland debut?
Was sent off against Germany but that was his last game for Scotland. Well, with any luck!
