just to let all you know that rosie who sold the raffle tickets at kirkcowan for tarff passed away today,i know a few people on here slagged her off but she was tarff through and through,she also raised them a lot of money through the years.

Sad news - few will forget Rosie's unique sales technique. Football needs characters like this! RIP - she will be selling tickets up above too I bet!

Lets hope the south teams show a little respect and have a min silence for a true star of Tarff Rovers and i bet there is still players in the south remember her you can look at people that pumped money into Tarff but i bet this Lady raised as much and tho Tarff are gone it was this lady that helped keep them going as long R.I.P. Rosie I for 1 will miss the crack we used to have

Yup all respect to Rosie she's always brought up in conversations about characters in the Southern Counties. RIP

Sorry for the loss Tarff. I remember once playing for Dumfries High FP's and going into the second half and being the keeper was concentrating on the game when i felt someone pulling at my jersey asking if i had blue ticket 42, brilliant to have characters like that and im sure she wll be sorely missed RIP
