I'm involved with a football team down here on the south coast (Fareham Town) and Sandy Baird apparently used to play for East Stirlingshire whilst Iain Watt used to play for Hamilton Accies.

Not sure of the exact dates but Sandy played for us in 1986-88 so shortly before then whilst Iain Watt apparently joined us straight from Hamilton at the start of the 94-95 season.

I would appreciate any info on appearances, goals scored, silly bookings, sendings off etc

I have a fairly complete database of players from 1980 onwards and there's no one of those names in it.

Have checked someone elses DB that goes from 1946 and there's no one of those names in it either.

If either did play football in Scotland, it was not at first team level, and the 1980s and 1990s were pretty good for getting accurate lists of registration, far better than today. I can't even track down record of them being 18 yr olds anywhere.
