Is there any chance either of the two legs getting Live TV coverage? rolleyes.gif
I notice Man City are on ITV summit on thursday v Danish opposition.

I believe the away leg is being covered live on Danish television. Whether anyone in the UK can actually pick that up I've no idea.

The home leg isn't being covered at all, either live or highlights. I think the BBC are sending a news camera so that goals can be shown in the news reports but no more than that.

Might be worth a look at the footydoctor site for the away leg if folk are not going, it usually has alot of obscure games wink.gif

If the BBC can't even stump up the cash to show Scotland World Cup qualifiers what is the chance of them showing any interest in Queens in Europe? Unless they draw AC Milan in the first round proper or get through to the group stage I cant't see there being any live coverage at all. After all, if memory serves they didn't show any of Aberdeen's games last year unitl the group stage and I'm not even entirely convinced they showed them all!

Sorry to sound like a bitter and twisted individual - it's because I am one.

The BBC don't have the rights to show UEFA Cup games this year anyways. It's between Setanta, ITV and Channel 5 wink.gif

You're wrong. That deal doesn't kick in until next season.

Although quite why a Rangers fan is concerning himself with TV contracts for European games is beyond me.

I imagine Queens might have decided not to have their home game shown because it would reduce the chances of filling New Broomfield on Thursday.

I think that all Aberdeen's games from the 1st round onwards were shown. I'm certain their away leg against Dnipro was on,and their group matches definitely were.

We certainly didn't "decide" not to have it broadcast. We'd have been delighted to get it broadcast and I doubt it would have made any significant odds to the gate which won't be anything like full anyway. They didn't have any interest in showing it sadly.

Myself and a fellow Rovers supporter are going to the game (we had been thinking of going if at Palmerston so Airdrie is a bonus). He tells me that a paltry 600 tickets have been sold by QoS according to the Record (yes I know it's dangerous to believe that "newspaper").

Surely you've sold more than that!

That's for the away leg in Denmark. laugh.gif It appears we've sold somewhere in the region of 3500-4000 for the 'home' leg.

I think you will find that is for the away leg in Denmark, and if correct then it is a quite a good away support for a so called diddy team wink.gif

So how much are tickets then?
