Crichton 4 Creetown 2 - Crichton took early lead but visitors equalised. Crichton 3-1 up by HT and scored fourth early in second half, Creetown scored last minute penalty.

Abbey Vale 0 Stranraer 4 - Vale had a great chance to make it 1-1 by the sounds of it but it was put over the bar. They then missed a penalty at 3-0 and had Sandy Laurie sent off at 4-0.

Dalbeattie Star 2 Mid Annandale 4 - Dbt Star 2-0 up in first 14 minutes but Mids made it 2-2 before HT. Two more goals in second half and they also had two chalked off.

Crichton and Stranraer joint-top now. Big week ahead for the champions with home games against Threave and Annan.

Sounds like Dbt Star had all fit bodies at East game against Heriot Watt so young lads seem to be getting their chance and finding life hard

Did Chambers and Milligan(new signings) play for the south team today? Crichton should have been 5 up inside 15 mins but were terrible from then on(was at the game for 80 mins) sounds like Speedy was unlucky but 4 nil is still 4 nil

Scott Milligan scored for the east team at Heriot-Watt. Not sure if Chambers played for souths or east.

I suppose Vale result isn't a surprise but it sounds like they put more into the game than I expected them too. It wasn't all one-way traffic and Stranraer were only 1-0 up for a third of the game.

Soltys and Kennedy getting doubles on their first outing together - 4 goals from 1 game isn't bad for what is potentially the best strikeforce in the league to start with.

Chambers started and played well but went off with sore groin after about 25-30mins.

Report on game...

Dalbeattie started better team and went 2-0 up in the first 20mins and looked in total control with Kinnick getting both goals. Then Mid Annandale started to get into the game more and converted a penalty before equalising not long before half time.

Second half was fairly even with Star missing 3 or 4 decent chances and Mid Annandale converting their chances better. Referee didnt have a clue about the offside rule with 2 star goals wrongly chalked off and also Mids had a goal taken off which looked ok.

Another poor performance for us need to get a grip tbh last 3 performances have been totally unacceptable sad.gif
