Something I have bben thinking about for a while. There is a hall of fame at Hampden but it is full of the usual suspects form international caps etc.. However I think recognition should be given to those who have served clubs in the lower leagues with distinction.

For BC I am thinking of Harry Cairney - ten years service (I think the only player to have two testimonials with different clubs), Davie Watt and Bobby Brown - again lots of years service. Also Jack Sunter, he was the physio from a very long time ago till around the late 80's.

I am sure that between us we could think of many others who did lots of work for there club and I for one think they should all be recognised.

I got physio from him at the Glebe when I fakked my knee in the mid-late 80's. Total dedication - kept going when he struggled to get about himself.

I imagine with certain players you could make an argument for them to be included somewhere in the hall of fame at Hampden.

You couldn't really do that with Physios though.

Nothing to stop individual clubs doing their own Hall of Fame though.Ayr have one and it's a good night out and can make some money for your club if it's marketed properly.

Tell me a bit more about that? Is it pictures somewhere in a longe and you get people together for the dedication? Do the fans decide who goes in?
