Exactly haha.
Friday night and this is what im doing. oh well. im not too long home from work so i have an excuse.
how does the guy plan to do the teams? isnt it up to his descretion who wins (what team he gives the better players with better stats) which on paper i suppose would be st johnstone or dundee. so im not complaining really.
when i tried to make a st johnstone on pes they were really awful which i suppose when they are playing teams like barca etc is realistic but they literally couldnt run with the ball or put in a good tackle.

It's up to you as you are the manager. Don't worry about injuries etc in real life.
If you pick your tem then i'll get your 1st game of the season done as Morton have a manager too.

Clyde 1-3 Morton
Wake opened the scoring as he tapped in the first goal from close range on 27 minutes after Hutton could only Parry a good shot from Rusell. After a roaming run from Gibson the right back hit a thunderbolt from about 25 yards on 64 minutes which gave Cuthbert no chance flying into the bottom left hand corner of the net, what a strike ! On 79 minutes Wake evaded a challenge from Ohnesorge and slammed the ball low past Hutton to restore the lead for Morton. The third goal came on 83 minutes as the keeper was left in no mans land when he half came for the cross from Russell but Newby got there first to neatly finish. And that was how it finished, a good performance from Morton to take the three points.
MotM : Masterton (Morton)
Shots 6-10

Next game is St Johnstone v Livingston
JamboRossi79
Aug 9 2008, 08:34
St Johnstone 1-0 Livingston
It was a bit of an uneventful first half with the only real chance of the game coming from a shot from Millar which was well tipped araound the post by Martini. The second half was a bit of a niggly affair as play was broken up by fould from both teams, infact at one stage there was a bit of a bust up between the players in the centre of the park which the referee had to break up. In injury time at the end of the game Jackson rose highest to power a header at goal, Martini saved well but the rebound fell kindly to Jackson who swept the ball into the net.
MotM : Jackson (St Johnstone) his goal pipped James and Davidson to the champagne.

Partick 1-2 Dunfermline
Partick hit the post early on from a Gray shot and then crank up the pressure as a defensive mix up at a corner leads to Wilson clearing off the line. At the other end Kirk brings out a great save from Tuffey. Roberts is then sent through on goal one on one but Gallacher takes him out just inside the box, lucky to only get a yellow card. Robertson then stepped up and slammed the spot kick home on 17 minutes. Good work on the right from Woods as he sent over a decent cross which is nodded in by Muirhead for the equaliser on 22 minutes. A good corner in by Harper finds Phinn and he buletted his header past Tuffey on 34 minutes.
MotM : Muirhead (Dunfermline) & Phinn (Dunfermline) too tight to call

Queen of the South 0-2 Airdrie Utd
An outstanding freekick from McDougall opened the deadlock for managerless Airdrie Utd on 38 minutes in a first half of few chances. Airdrie Utd then doubled their lead on 53 minutes as Di Giacomo hit a sweet drive low from about 18 yards into the bottom corner of the net. A good shot by Dobbie from the edge of the area is well saved by Robertson.
MotM : McDougall (Airdrie Utd) & McDonald (Airdrie Utd)
Shots 2-5

Possession 53-47

Ross County 1-1 Dundee
Golabek crudely tackles Curier inside the box and ref had no hesitation in pointing to the spot. McMenammin composed himself and fires the ball straight down the middle to give Dundee the lead on 51 minutes. Higgins evens up the game on 57 minutes as he meets a swinging corner from Lawson with his head. A good header from Curier brings out an equally good save from Bullock to keep the scores level.
MotM : Cameron (Dundee), Bullock (Ross County) & Lawson (Ross County)
Shots 4-8
On target 3-3
Possession 39-61
