Full Version: Junior Football Coverage

Hi guys, just letting you know that the Non-League Today football paper, out every Sunday - sometimes Monday depending on distribution deadlines - is going to be devoting three full pages to Scottish non-league football from Sunday, August 24.

One page will go to the South, East and Highland Leagues with all of the league tables. Two pages will also be devoted entirely to the juniors.

Regular features such as "buzz clubs" which focuses on a particular club and "groundhopper" will also feature Scottish clubs a bit more.

Hopefully more papers will be sent up to Scotland but might be a good idea to order a copy in advance from your newsagent as some shops stock just ONE copy!

Seen it in several different newsagents where I live in Paisley too. Agreed good read.

Yeah, good read. Had a chat a while ago with the journalist who is running the Scottish section, he was asking about MyScotFC, and he mentioned they were looking to expand the coverage.

I've also seen it around Paisley, plus in pretty much most WH Smith stores in towns I've been to recently.

Co-op in Lennoxtown gets 4 copies so I'd imagine the big stores would get more.

We're working with Newmains United, plus we've sponsored an Annan Athletic player for the season. We might not make a huge different or impact, but that's not really the point. It's just about involvement and seeing what happens, really don't see why anyone involved with a club like Linlithgow would care anyway.

I agree - not absolutely sure why you merited that sudden outburst from Sponsors - he's normally a hotbed of reason and calm. laugh.gif rolleyes.gif
