Sorry if it's been mentioned pre-match threads, but I take it both players are injured.

I'm sure we'll here quite a bit about them when they're both fit, but it's been a bit of an anti-climax given all the talk surrounding them during pre-season.
Juan Sara
Exactly that, more Cameron than Morris I'd say as we seen Morris play last season.

Morris was in by himself the Sunday after the Ross County game and towards the end of his session with the physio, hurt his hamstring. He should be back within the next few weeks but hasn't trained so far this week (AFAIK), so looks unlikely to make Saturday.

Thankfully we haven't missed him too much so far, although Saturday's game could be our toughest test yet.

I thought Morris was a big let down last season

Cheers. Can any of the Dees shed some light on Cameron's current condition?

I think he twisted knee ligaments and is out for 2/3 weeks but I could be wrong.Bit of a blow but hopefully we will have the whole squad fit for qos at the end of the month. We have another option now that pozniak has signed, but look forward to cameron getting started in this league.

well, id rather have someone who wont get injured every two games for 2-3 weeks at a time, and who said you will finish top 2 ?

Good point. Man picks up 1 injury and all of a sudden he is a liability?

Agree to disagree.

No, i didnt say that if you are going to be a "title winning team" then you need young players that dont have a high chance of getting injured.

Only my opinion though.

But any player can get injured,we have yet to see Craig McKeown play yet and your own Liam Buchanan is struggling just now.

Colin Cameron is/was a cracking player, and even if he's a shadow of his former self he will do a good job in the First Division, injury permitting.

Not a good sign for the Dees that he's picked up an early injury though.

Exactly, we can stick to Gary Harkins, Rowser, McKeown and Chaplain while they stick with an injured Colin Cameron

Cameron twisted a knee in training last week, straining a medial ligament. It's reckoned he'll be out for a few weeks. He'll hopefully be available for the trip to Palmerston at the end of the month.

Who, who, who & who???

Was that some of the midfield who were the best midfield in the league early last season before they came to Dens and got a good rogering..

And the same midfield who more than matched you at Firhill twice, and beat you once.

And the same midfield that held on until late on with a man down at Dens the second time around.

However, without Kevin MacDonald, who basically ran your midfield last year, can you still expect to roger us??

David Rowson is a class act. You're a bit ignorant if you've never heard of him.

The others are all either relatively young, or have rapidly risen through the divisions. They may lack experience, but can only improve, whilst the likes of Colin Cameron are past their best.

Once we go well clear at the top we can start to use Cameron sparingly, he should do us for the run in. cool.gif

I actually thought it was quite funny.

Could also prove to be spot on. Cameron is hardly a spring chicken. What have any of the Dundee fans seen of him in the last few years that would make them believe he is anything other than another washed-up has-been looking for a final pay cheque?

That would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that most of them are under 25 and only Rowson is over 30.

Shite? Possibly in the opinion of some.
