It is not played for any more I don't think, there are 4 cups in the NCL but this is not one of them these days. Last record I can see of it is Thurso winning it 5 years ago.

That's a shame, i wonder who has kept the cup, or is it in a HL museum, or maybe has been passed onto Chic's family.

Not sure, if Thurso last won it then it is possible they still have it. Strangely, I don't think it's uncommon for cups to go missing.

• Now remind me, was there an incident involving the Chic Allan Cup and being thrown in the River Ness?
• Was it not the same night that Leishman was breathalised positively?
• Was it not the case that "Howden End" had a hand in both of these incidents?

The Chic Allan Cup was thrown in the Ness during one particularly drunken Saturday night. Guilty. Not solely responsible, but thats neither here nor there......
My cousin was playing for the Thistle reserve team that won it & we somehow persuaded him that giving the trophy to a few drunken Caley fans was a good idea.

Not guilty of the Leishman story PRS. Merely a witness to his drunkeness at an all-night garage. No grassing done. Not the same night as the cup incident either.
