I'd sort of hoped to pull her, and not have to pay a prozzie. laugh.gif

It's 'only' a few thousand quid to enter one of the EPT events I think. Always faniced doing that, even though I'm not a massive poker player.

It's completely unjust for the majority of society, why should the quality of a child's education depend on the size of their parent's bank balance?

Thats only one case, but why should you have to prove yourself to be more intelligent than everyone else in order to get a better education? Everyone should have the same standard of education, why do the children of wealthy parents deserve a better class of education?

All private schools have to give out scholarships if they want to maintain their charitable status (it's a tax dodge).

Everyone should have education suited to their needs, I understand that some people take longer to understand things and the class will move slower as a result, but this also has a negative effect on my learning. So instead I go to my school, where the pace is more suitable.

The pace of a class has nothing to do with it, if you want to get something you can get it. By the way, the teaching in State schools in general top notch and I know plenty of people who are intelligent and the pace of the class has never affected them, they show a lot more determination than a student whose parents have had to shell out over £40,000 for them to get straight A's, and I know plenty of private school people who got worse results than me.
