Unless I've missed it, nothing's been posted on this yet...
I suppose this as good an opener as we could have asked for and I think we can get the win.
I don't expect the team to be too much different from the team from Saturday against Thistle, except I'd expect Paul Cairney to slot in somewhere. Looking forward to this.
Oh, and there's going to be a minute applause for the passing of both Bob Crampsey and former player Paul Borland. Great tribute to both men.
I'm going to predict 2-0 to us, Mon the Queen's!

Good stuff. I'd much prefer that rather than a minutes silence.
An applause for Bob Crampsey I have no problem with but in the tragic circumstances of Paul's I think a silence would be more appropriate.
I understand you can't really have an applause then a silence, though.

clapping is a fine tribute when there's more than 5 fans

. Lets be honest, a minutes silence is much more better in the surcumstances.

I prefer the minutes silence over the minutes applause, especially for Borland as GeeJay has mentioned.
Back to the game. If we perform the same we did against Thistle, we can win this. I'm feeling confident but that's probably not a good thing.
2-1 Queens, Cairney and Henry.

To be honest, I've had a few quiet moments this week to reflect on Paul's tragic death and what he meant to me as a person and player so quite happy to have a minute's applause to honour him.
RIP mate.

Yeah I see what you're saying in regards to Paul. I was just giving my opinion on silence/applause in general.

I've just googled this. Awful.
Condolences to his mother and family, and to you as well.

Have QP got a new strip for the season?
Yes, it's black and white hoops.
Think this one has got draw written all over it. I'd expect both teams to be fairly cautious, the last thing that either team will want to do tomorrow is lose to a likely relegation rival. Not expecting a thriller.

Home win - cert. Fortress Hampden is back.
We've looked fairly good in the pre-season matches and (bar the first 15 minutes) against Thistle.

I doubt we will be cautious, we are much better going forward and taking the game to teams. Queens usually allow teams to play football as it suits their game, so should be a decent spectacle.

Hard to tell how this one will plan out. Either We will give Queens are hard game and a draw would be a great result for us

But also got a feeling we could be totally outclassed and quite heavily defeated

???
If we want to stay up this year we should be looking to take points of teams who on paper will be in a relegation battle with us, and this is a good account of how we will fair this season.
I say we sneak a 1-0 when a lapse in the Queens defence lets Tade run through to round the keeper after Queens missing numerous chances
Would happily take any kind of draw
