Ronson
Goals from new signings Chris Geddes and Gary Livingstone put Rose 2-0 up, with Kilsyth scoring 3 mins from half time.
Rose increased their lead around 50th min from Grady and Geddes added his second and 4th for his team.
Kilsyth secored a second a couple of mins from time.
Some good goals from both sides.
Rose took some time to find their feet in what was their second friendly, but once they started to make passes Kilsyth fell away.
Could somebody confirm how many games Kilsyth have played prior to this game.

rrm
Whitburn beat them last tues. wasn't that impressed with them. They have signed a few Armadale players including Dickie Gibb as coach.
gogsy
Kelty Hearts beat them 2-1 on the 19th, they didn't look that bad a side to be honest.

think it was a good game personally, the one touch stuff from the rose was pretty good.and BF'S encouragement from the side lines is refreshing aswell.

Heard that Kilsyth had signed a keeper, centre half and centre mid from Armadale and that their squad from last year had been emptied except for 3 or 4?

Is Dickie Gibb still playing...F*** me he must be some age now!!!! wink.gif wink.gif

DG is assistant coach.
Sir Kevin Of Kilsyth
I believe that Kilsyth have also signed Andy Thomson.

Theyve already had friendlies against Whitburn and Kelty (both away) but im not too sure about others.

I stoated down last night because I had nothing better to do and I think at least Kilsyth have a bit more fight about them than last year which was absoloutely dreadful. Linlithgows quality shone through eventually though.

The game against Kelty was at Kilsyth. Andy Thomson played against us (no 9). Is this the same Andy Thomson that was with QOS?

No, he's been Junior for a good decade or so now with the likes of Baillieston, Shettleston, Larkhall and Petershill. He was very briefly on Ayr United's books in the early 1990s.
