Admittedly i've only been to a few game's, but it's so hard to get a ticket. here's a quick quessy, who think's Hampden should be knocked down and replaced with a state of the art stadium like Wembley and the Millenium Stadium? Why shouldn't we have one like that, i no we have Murrayfield but leave that for the rugby. Hampden is a disgrace tbh.

The biggest myth there is. A home friendly at Pittodire got an attendence of less than 14,000 in a time when we were doing very well. The majority of Scotland fans are from the central belt because that's where the majority of the population live.

Used to go semi regularly to the home games, but haven't been in about 10 years. My interest in the National team has waned somewhat over the years, and I just can't muster anything like the same enthusiasm for it as I do for my club side.

But where would Queens play? Lesser just isn't good enough for us

Waning interest for me. This qualification has made it worse, ok i was happy to see the wins against France but it pissed me off that so many people were walking about singing "we'll be coming" (etc) when they hadn't given a f**k during Vogts's reign. That is to be expected in football though. As has been said, would rather see Raith win the league than Scotland win the world cup.

I find these statements astonishing. I am not sure if you are being serious or want a pat on the back or are just trying to be super loyal to your clubs. Either way what you are saying is a disgrace.
All Scottish SFL and SPL players are playing because they love the game. Each one of them would do anything to get in that elusive 22 man squad national squad. If you come on here and say that you are not interested / bothered about the Scotland national team then I suggest you give up football alltogether and take up golf.
The pinnacle of a players career is earning a cap and representing his nation whether that England, Scotland or Holland Antilles.
The way i see it is that all 42 Scottish league teams are all part of a bigger picture - which is the Scottish Football Association.
I love travelling abroad watching Scotland and am proud to be a Scottish citizen. Scotland would always take priority for me and that does not make me a lesser Ross County fan.

Can't say i agree with that. Raith offer me more than Scotland do...as a Raith fan i can go every single week providing financial costs aren't a burden. I see the same people in the same seats and feel involved with the club. With Scotland, it is a case of sit in a pub watching the game on the Tv because i can't get tickets for the game. To me, the experience of football is about being on the terraces or watching the game live. I don't find the same enjoyment in watching games on the TV. It is a bit silly to say that i shouldn't be involved in football because i don't support the national team. Lets face it, no Raith player is going to be capped by Scotland any time in the near future.

Well to me it reminds me of the playground. Just because your team does not currently have players selected in the national team you dont care if they win or not?
If Raith have a change of fortune and get a few players in the set-up and you win the lottery and can afford to go to the matches you would then all of a sudden be a Scotland fan?
Well whats all that crap about rather Raith won the 2nd div than Scotland winning the World Cup?

Although i love my club with a passion, i totally enjoy the build up of watching the National team. It's a fantastic distraction for a week, imo Scotland have improved massively and i think our Country deserves an improved stadium. No offence to Queens fan's, but you'll need to ground share. If the Welsh can have the Millenium stadium, we should have New Hampden. The SFA will have none of it though

You might find it astonishing, but some of us think otherwise. East Fife have been a huge part of my life since I was at the primary. Not only have I never been to a competitve Scotland game, I don't watch football on TV either.
Why would I wish to watch the SPL mob who do nothing for the game outside their shell, and would certainly never have Sky, which has kept the game boyant south of the border for ages now. They even show live games in the conference, so why give Sky your cash to allow them down south to buy who they want and wwhen they want?
When was the last time anything was shown on TV outwith the SPL, barring cup matches? Sad really when both STV and BBC Jockland both show SPL highlights.
Now I am sure that if a Raith or an Allo player (I know this is stretching the imagination a rad) were to be selected to represent Scotland, we would go along to cheer both the player and the team on.
