With Gretna winning promotion four times in five years, which teams did not manage to play them in the League?
If any team missed playing them, did they get them in any of the Cups?
Thanks Jamie.

So, of the 37 clubs Gretna played in league matches, how many other teams, aside from St. Mirren, did they fail to score against?

4-2 to us at Airdrie
0-0 in the other two matches

At a guess I'd say Forfar too - they had a pretty good record against Gretna. Stranraer broke even against them, 1 win each (ours clinched promotion) and two draws.

Of course, almost all SPL teams will have the upper hand. It's really just SFL teams I was thinking of.

Dundee United hold the title of the worst record of SPL clubs against Gretna in the league P3 W1 L2
Hearts and K*lm*rn*ck have equal records of P4 W1 L1 D2 although if you want to be really picky Hearts had a better goal difference (+1) and K*lm*rn*ck an inferior (-1)
So Berwick had the honour of being the only club in Scotland not to have played them competitively...Still there's always the Scottish Cup with Gretna MKII

Judging by the above I don't think Stenhousmuir ever played them competitively either...
Can't remember Arbroath ever playing them - think we swapped places when they came out of the 3rd.

who had the biggest win against them?
we pumped them 4-0 at reydale but dunno if they had worse in the pre Mileson era?
anyone confirm?
Their heaviest defeat was 6-0 at Hibs in the league cup the season before last.
Heaviest league defeats were 5-0 away at Morton in their first season, and 6-1 away at Inverness last season.
Heaviest home defeat was also to Inverness, 5-0 in the league cup again.
There was also a 5-1 at home against Derry City, and another 4-0 at home to Inverness in the league last season.
The best that Dundee can claim is that it was their heaviest defeat at home in an SFL game.

Stenny played them in the cup in 2003-2004, and in the league in 2004-2005 according to my stats.
You're right about Arbroath though. Can't read my own writing

You have to forgive me. I grew up in Dundee!!!

What is the ground criteria for entry into the Scottish cup? Some of the South of Scotland clubs play on nothing more than public parks
