First off I'd like to apologise for the early starting of this topic, I've no doubt a few of you will moan, but I doubt I'll get another chance to do it, and I quite fancied setting the ball rolling.
Quite looking forward to the game now, and hopefully we can carry the same sort of performance we showed today into next week. If we can, we'll win!
Unfortunately, I don't think that'll happen. Ayr have built a very good side this season, and I'd be fairly happy with a draw at this moment in time. Hopefully not though, and I'll be there to cheer on the boys.

Maybe time will have imploded by then. Maybe The Fife Gr£tna will be out of business. Maybe someone from Stranraer will have learned to read and write properly.
Whatever happens, it's a loooooong time away..........

We might have civilised Fifers by next week...although going by today it won't be any of the Rangers "loyal" Fife fans. Anyway, i never like to make something out of nothing but i honestly think that the winner of the title will be decided next week in this game.

It's a very good point. The losers of this game might as well not try for the rest of the season. They won't get the title but they'll stroll into and through the playoffs.

Indeed. A small consolation though for the losers. I personally can't wait to see this league decider.

David Dunn has continued where he left off at Ayr and remains the worse player at his club.
We had sooo many chances today and fluffed most of them. Williams was one of three players injured by the plastic pitch. If he is out for any length of time we may not score for a long time based on todays finishing.
East Stirlingshire's first was a 25 yard thunderbolt in off the bar. They had maybe 3 shots on target the whole game.
You don't get a bigger kick up the arse than losing to the shire so hopefully we will bounce back next week.
I predict a draw however
That's the worst thing that could have happened for us, Ayr will get a right boot up the arse this week and will be more than up for it next week now.

at Ayr all the same.
I'm not really sure how we'll do at all, could go either way! If Walker doesn't recover from his injury in time, we're in big trouble though. He's the dominant midfield player we've been needing, and is calm in possession as well. I'll hold off any predictions until I hear the situation with him - same goes for Williams, who is a major, major player for Ayr.

It's quite funny, because the Ayr Elvis (Monster) is always going on about how we only have 700 fans.

Or, we just filled their ground for them

I agree, this game will electric from start to finish. McGlynn has brought in Kevin Smith to cover for Hissy and he'll chip in a fair amount of goals, i've alway's rated him although a wee bit baw greedy. But if he scores goals i don't think we'd be complaining.

It's a few minutes walk, but the quickest route takes you past The Horseshoe Bar which is a superb pre-match watering hole.
