Different role. He was coaching the strikers, PT too IIRC.

It was a fairly meaningless title anyway. No-one has "taken over" from him.

When the club went properly full time Snowy was left pretty isolated as he has a day job. Last year his only contact with the players was on match days and he basically acted as a go between for players and management. He never attended training anyway.

I wasn't actually aware that he'd joined Thistle until I read it on the site, though I knew he had left us a while ago. I would have thought the same problem existed at Thistle to be honest.

Good luck to him anyway. He's a real "character" Snowy. A good guy.

The Official Site has now been contacted by Snowy and retracted the suggestion that he's joined Thistle I see! He hasn't. I didn't think it made much sense.

Between Chis, Brannigan, Dodds and Latchford, I reckon we've got enough coaches for what is likely to be a squad in the region of 20 players.

you'd expect the OS would know what they were talking about?? sounds pretty stupid to release a statement like that without any solid facts

He is not joining according someday on ptfc.net, apperently it says it on your OS.
