Sure this poll was done a few weeks ago but might change my vote this time. I'm going each way on Rae or McInnes. Date of getting the jotters would be a more fun poll. I predict 28th september after a 7-2 defeat for one of them

I'm going to change my opinion from the last time and go for Kenny Black. Airdrie will struggle and they'll attempt to make a scapegoat out of him around Febuary.

kenny black will keep his job no matter how bad we are this season with the tiny budget and small squad he is doing a good job the first casaulty will be either rae mcinnes or mcintyre which ever one has the worst start i went for mcinnes
I think most managers in the league would be relatively safe initially. The managers most likely to be sacked would be from teams with high expectations and they fail spectacularly. The most likely candidates being St Johnstone, Dundee and Queens. As all three teams are expected to fight it out at the top, and a slow start to the season from one side could see the pressure mount. Although both Queens and St Johnstone have shown patience with previous managers in the recent past. Alex Rae for me if Dundee don't make a solid start.
Derek Adams will not be sacked this season even if we are cut adrift by January.

As Loki said Geoff tends to stand by managers, so there is no way he would ditch Derek just for coming up with another of our now traditional slow starts. There would have to be a ridiculously bad run that would see any manager sacked for Geoff to ditch him.

Who expects us to be fighting it out at the top? I'm not sure many Queens fans do and as long as we aren't fighting it out at the bottom, I think Chisholm will be safe all season.
We've not only shown patience with previous managers, but with the current one as well. We were one game from going bottom of the league in mid Novemeber last season, and were still around the relegaton area in December. Some might argue that isn't showing patience as he only took over at the start of the season, however given the budget and with full-time training in Glasgow, I think he would have been expected to do better in the early months. It is also possible that, even if we do as badly initially this season, it will take an exceptional series of poor results for the goodwill built up by Chisholm last season to evaporate.
I'd say Chisholm is one of the safest from an early sacking.

The expectations of the chairmen in charge of Dundee, St Johnstone and Dunfermline are that they should be in the promotion hunt. Yet none of these chairmen have appointed anything that looks like a manager.
So the one which faulters most out of these 3 will be first to go.

think rae will be under the most presure because he is the only manager at a big team who should be in the PL. all other teams in SFL 1 know they arent big enough for the SPL so are quite happy in division 1
