I'm not sure there was ever any serious doubt that Kirk was onside at the second though, more a vain attempt to clutch at straws. I think Saints fans have accepted the Pars' word on the PK claim in front of your goal, so the counter is you have to trust us over a foul on James. We still had plenty of opportunity to prevent the goal though, no one tracked Williamson's original run and no one reacted when his return pass was cut out. Goalkeeper was also very limp wristed.
It looks to me as if James just falls over - I really can't see any hint of a foul. At the time it never occurred to me that there might be a foul, and that was from seeing it from the halfway line rather than behind the goal. Perhaps you're right that it doesn't confirm it absolutely either way, but it certainly doesn't dissuade me fromo my original view. I suppose it doesn't really matter that much though, and this probably isn't the best thread to be discussing it on.
