It requires you to register. The video quality isn't excellent but it still gives you a good insight over the game. It also has commentary.

Talbot did get the ball sad.gif
Jamie_Beatson
Pretty disastrous defending by Livi for both the first goal and the penalty - both just long balls that dropped behind them. Talbot looks like he did get the ball, but put himself in a bad position by lunging in from the back.
EdinburghLivi
We were defeated by the high-line again. You'd have thought the players that survived from last season's team would have told the rest to watch how far they go up the pitch against teams like Thistle and St. Johnstone.

Obviously not.

The back of Arthur Montford's head is infinitely more attractive than the cheerleaders on show.

laugh.gif Your commentator is certainly enthustiastic. He did a really good job with the game and the interview afterwards. I'd like to see LiviTV adopt a style more like this because it would add to the quality it already has.

I am liking our highlights this season, top show Pars thumbup2.gif

Some of them had a severe lack of support as well.

Pish - our commentator is a lunatic who probably just finds the commentary to be a kind of therapy from his normal ranting mode at Pars games. He was also just about shitting his pants when doing the interviews.

The highlights seem to confirm that the moans about a possible foul on James in the build-up to the first one are unjustified, and similarly the complaints that Andy Kirk might have been offside at the second also seem wrong as the linesman looks to call it correctly.

Do they? I don't think you can make out much before the first goal but from our end of the stand, the claims were reasonable and it's also understandable that the ref missed it. I'm not sure there was ever any serious doubt that Kirk was onside at the second though, more a vain attempt to clutch at straws. I think Saints fans have accepted the Pars' word on the PK claim in front of your goal, so the counter is you have to trust us over a foul on James. We still had plenty of opportunity to prevent the goal though, no one tracked Williamson's original run and no one reacted when his return pass was cut out. Goalkeeper was also very limp wristed.

It looks to me as if James just falls over - I really can't see any hint of a foul. At the time it never occurred to me that there might be a foul, and that was from seeing it from the halfway line rather than behind the goal. Perhaps you're right that it doesn't confirm it absolutely either way, but it certainly doesn't dissuade me fromo my original view. I suppose it doesn't really matter that much though, and this probably isn't the best thread to be discussing it on.

Great highlights from perth, good to see what happened at the first goal cause i missed it, and what a strike from bayne. Loving the commentary as well!

A poor man's Campbell Hughes. Nothing doing.

How that first goal for Dunfermline went in is beyond me. The ball was barely moving!

Sorry, didn't mean that to sound as if I was having a go at you - I was only joking, because the reason I know the commentator from Saturday can often be a bit of a ranting lunatic and that he was more than a wee bit nervous about asking questions afterwards is that the voice you hear is actually mine! You're right though in that it would take a bit of doing to catch up with the guy that does the Partick highlights - I don't think it's possible not to be amused when you hear him!

I concur with socks.....the commentator is prone to being a raving lunatic......although not as half as bad as the editor who is a tool of the highest order with dilusions of Speilberghood.

Full credit to David Hutton as well.

Ok Griffiths is running towards me. I think I'll stand infront of one of the posts, and then when he shoots I'm going to roll it through my legs.

It wasn't the best goalkeeping I must admit but I think Griffiths deserves credit for hitting down low and hard. Hardest place for a goalie to save.

It was terrible goalkeeping, and it was only hard to save because of how poorly he was positioned.

It was a good through ball, and run from Griffiths though.
