I have a Sony NW A3000 MP3 player and the headphones are goosed. Anyone got any suggestions for the best ones to get? Althought my player is a previous model I assume that all Sony headphones will work OK. I'm looking for in-ear ones.
Oh and what the best music download site? I used to use emusic.com but they don't take switch cards now.
Cheers

Can't advise about headphones, but The Gray Ghost uses a Russian site called gomusic to download from. No digital rights, a good (although not exhaustive) library, and well priced. Have been using it for about 3 years or so.

I have Sennheiser CX300's, for around the £20 mark they're the best you can get.

That GoMusic is asking me to phone some premium rate phone line to pay for things. No thanks.

Okay, they must hate you. The Gray Ghost has never had to do anything like that. Apologies, but it works for me!

Sennheiser MX75sThese are what I have - they are the bawz if you do any running or go to the gym.
Although some Amazon reviewers find them uncomfy, I don't find them bad at all.

I used to use that site all the time, and since I ran out of credit recently and went to top up, it asked me to phone a premium number at £1 a minute, which may (ie WILL) take up to 20 minutes to process.
Fuckers.

Not sure how much you're looking to spent but I bought a pair of Sony EX32 in-ear headphones from my local Tesco for £19 to replace the shite ones that came with my Creative Zen at Christmas. I find them comfy even when running or cycling and I've got no complaints with sound quality - it definitely drowns out the noise on the train to work.

Ah bugger.
The Gray Ghost has to top up soon. Will let you know if theres any way round it..
Edited to add, just had a look at it, it appears you just have to hang on the line (breathing heavily if you wish), key in your order and hang about for 20 minutes, instead of having to put in any card numbers or anything. So it doesnt appear to cost any more than it used to, but it probably saves them money in transaction costs. Will post again next time The Gray Ghost tops up.

I got Sony ones but they have these stupid little rubber ear-plugs that you ahve to take on and off. The result of this is that they just block my ear rather than allow me to listen to the music!
Will give them a try, as things stand, I can't hear anything in my left ear with them in.

I went round to Sony, they didn't take them back. The little p***k in the shop said he'd told me about the ear-plug things but he hadn't and the manager said he couldn't refund them because I'd opened the packet.
I have tried them again and the left ear hardly has any volume in them. I might take them up to the other Sony Centre or just send it back

I also have a pair of Skullcandy earphones as a spare pair because alot of my earphones get the dreaded sound-gone-in-one-ear syndrome eventually.
