Interesting report considering this is the same chairman that withdrew the threave 1st team from the east league a number of years back. Financial problems with traveling costs and wages were given as the reasons although one would have thought a little bit of hard work fundraising would have meant staying in a better league. If threave were finding it hard then fuel prices now are a little higher and everyone knows they are paying players have they a big backer like gretna had or is it a lot of paper talk. The club certainly under the present chairman showed no ambition then so what has changed. Also it would cost the rovers hundreds of pounds every home game with referees doing pitch inspections you only need a shower on a friday moring and the game will probably be called off and the decision made by the groundsman?
A message to the chairman of threave is simple you had the chance years ago when the then committee showed ambition dont try and fool everyone with crap like this nonsense
