Any Clyde fans got a view on this guy?

He was ok for us. he was playing in a very poor team at the time and one that didn't really know what they were doing under Hendry. He got sent off after 20minutes of his debut(although he was unfortunate) and IIRC he did seem to lose the plot a bit in general. Could be a good signing for you guys though if he can work on certain areas of his game.

Airdrie, right winger...too easy.

I thought he was pretty average during his spell with us, got sent off 25 minutes into his debut for two yellows. He is quite fast, and played on both wings as well as in central midfield and as a second striker. The best game I saw him play was against Airdrie reserves, I think he will do a solid job.

Good player. You might find he'll blow hot & cold at times but certainly if he irons out any consistency issues then he, I'm sure, will be a quality addition for Airdrie.

He's quick, he can beat a man, he's got good feet, not scared to have a pop & his delivery is more than decent. In short, he's got all the necessities for a wingman the only stopper on his game might be his confidence.

He did fine with us, nothing fantastic but will do a good job for you guys. I would have quite liked him back though, mainly as an option on the left though, as the best out and out left winger we have at the moment is McLaren. So I reckon if we both we'd have been able to make sure one was sane for each game.

I tell you what, I would take Kirkup back in a second right now - we need some depth in defence, he's only 19/20, ideal signing IMO.

i think the ref could've have him a final warning.it was his first foul out with the booking for the dive. It was a long time ago anyway so matters not now. Agree with Mushroom that i would take Kirkup back in a second. We need an impossing centre half now McKeown's away.

Yeah, I'd agree. Don't think he is good enough to replace McKeown though.

As for Cardle, yeah, decent man to have around. Good buy for Airdrie.

Average. He's got some decent ability on the ball, good vision and delivery but he completely vanished from some games. Don't think he's as good as Trouten.

Cardle didn't show much in my view. One or two little glimpses that he might have had something but most players can do that. To be fair, as already mentioned, he did play only a few games in a very poor team so he may be alot better than early indications showed.
