Evening y'all.

I'm needing to convert some avi files to vcd format and was wondering what apps, if any, people on here would recommend.

I'm running Vista Home Premium.

Never needed to create an vcd to be honest, but after a quick google I found this..

http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/vcdsvcd_faq.htm

Which has a fair selection of tools linked. The site also has a decent FAQ.

Back in the day when I was doing vcd's I always used TMPGenc. Easy to follow templates and automatically fits your files to cd size. Basic free version is here .

Why did you do a VCD? Wouldnt it have been just as easy to turn it into a proper DVD? Plenty of software around for doing that

Fek knows. Always had old video stuff put onto svcd - mainly due to not having a doovde rewriter. The fact that I've now had one for the last 3 years and two for the last 8 months never even entered my thoughts 1eye.gif sad.gif
