Simple question - Is Limewire fucked?

Whenever I start it up it goes no higher than 1 green bar at the bottom left hand side.

Discussing the app should be ok, mind you I wouldn't want to step on the toes of the hard b*stard that is the dedicated moderator on here! wink.gif

Got to say, in terms of p2p sharing apps, Limewire would be well down my list.

What does everyone use instead of Limewire these days? Are any of them actually safe?

Bit Torrent technology is the way forward.

Just remember the copyright laws. wink.gif

I tend to use a 3 pronged approach. For small and single files (like a windows app <1Mb) I'll use eMule, for single music tracks I use Soulseek, and for everything else I use torrents (with a uTorrent client).

Bit Torrent? Files? Difficult to find? ohmy.gif

Hmm... right, I'm not going to post links, but by God the net is just swamped with torrents!
