The rate my knees are taking to recover I should be just about ok. I'm really considering packing it in after this season dont know if it was the forthbank masisve heavy park but i aint felt this bad in years after a game, Have really struggled at work this week and i do need to consider my long term mobility. wont rush into anything but thought i would give fair warning, whatever, i would still be involved in some way even if it's fetching beers!!

I'm out for this.
...Which is unfortunate, as I would rather like to get a few more hefty (yet fair, of course!) challenges in on these fellas. I'll trust Neil will have his knees (and masculinity) back in time to oblige?..

Dealth me in. I think I might be playing the day before too so not sure what my physical condition will be - will confirm nearer the time.
Budgie (the other ringer last Sunday), also said he'd be up for playing again if he was wanted.

Get him involved. He was good too. Good link-up play. I hear he's a goal-getter though.

Was a goal getter, WAS. I distinctly said "when he played for the same boys club as me".
Bit unlucky with that one that hit the post mind. Budgie is always up for a game of football, he'd likely be available most weeks. And he drives, which is a bonus obviously.
Edit: Spoke to Budgie there, he says he'd be up for playing with us during the summer if we wanted him. Would give us more options up front, no offence to Tom but when Dubs and Gogo aren't available we are kind of one dimensional up top. What do people think?
He's also available for the 20th.

Definately get him involved. Good bloke to have upfront in a 4-4-2.
Get him in somewhere and Jonny Reid back, yer man Ravin' Kev, slot Gogo in and we've got a team.
That sounds alright actually.

Just to confirm (for about the 3rd time) Budgie is definitely in. He's scored his share of goals for Bilbino last season and has was playing out wide for the most part.

Looking increasingly likely that I'm going to be working. My boss is trying to move things about to get me an early shift but I have my doubts. Think the earliest I can get out is 3, which pretty much screws me over unless I get a taxi for the final 15 minutes or so!

EDIT: We'll all be coming off the back of a 2 day bender - might not be at the peak of our form.

To be honest I'm embarassed that we're looking at a squad that only has 8 out of 19 of our squad (not including Robin), and 2 of them aren't really fit to play.
It's a problem with the league yeah, but I think it's more our problem - we've had to cancel a friendly next week for lack of numbers. It's hard to get a fairly casual team to be available all the time, especially during holiday season (another problem with the league!).

we could have of course cancelled the game alltogether leaving Boro out of pocket and the ref well fcuk him he shouldn't get paid till we are satisfied with his performance
