Shocking

I know.
I share your disbelief that the attendance was so high given that there were only a handful of away fans, and that the match came at a time when many people would be on holiday.

Any idea how much tickeys were?
Games like this should be minimal cost so as to fill the place

It's important to me and that's all that counts, in my opinion

If that's all that counts then why would you be posting on a public forum?
Thoughts to yourself if your own opinion "is all that counts".
Yawn.

Taking note, saves time and effort with the whole mace concept.

The crowd was actually better than I had feared, bearing in mind (1) the weather, (2) the price of the tickets, and (3) the general disregard paid to the competition by the media, the fans, and (I now realise having sat through it), the players. Previous Intertoto ties at Easter Road attracted crowds of 8k (Vetra), 11k (Dinaburg) and 10k (Odense) so a figure of 7,809 is not unexpected.
