Before I say any more it's worth pointing out that when it comes to computers I am daft as f**k, so apologies about this one. I've got broadband with BT but I can't seem to get to the internet on my new laptop via the internet with BT bit, but instead just by hitting Internet Explorer. Anyone know the situation with that, as I'm wondering if I'll get charged more or something despite getting a broadband bill as it is?

Cheers.

No, you wont get charged more, dont worry about it. It sounds like BT supply their own browser, the same as AOL, in both situations you are advised not to use them.

Goto www.mozilla.com and download firefox 3, its far better than internet explorer.

What MarreZ said.

I was with BT a few years ago and it mattered not whether I clicked on the BT logo to log on or the IE logo, it was still connecting via the BT connection.

I'd also agree with the assertion that you should fire in Firefox 3.
