Never heard of a Paul Nimmo, we had a Ryan Nimmo who played for the 17's, 19's and Reserves last season, AFAIK he is still with Clyde, not sure about the rest.

Ryan will be correct - as Clyde's website was gash last season (much improved now) I had to rely on the likes of the following for info

Ross Hyslop was with Motherwell last season and was offered a further year but opted to move to Scunthorpe United on a two year deal where an injury to their number two keeper early season meant he's had a couple of appearances on the bench for the first team.

We paid Mark Whorlow off last season about October 2007 I think. There was some talk of him joining Stranraer as he's a Stranraer boy but I don't know if he ever did. if he's not there then I expect he's playing SOuthern Counties somewhere.

Gordon O'Brien signed for Blairgowrie. Fairbairn's still on my 'clubless' list, as is Wilcox. Do you know if Wilcox was loaned to North End last season? I noticed reports of a "Darren Cox" playing for them and wondered if it was a mistake with the name.

Would have guessed O'Brien would do that as it's his home town club. Indeed, I think Monaghan's local team will be VoL. Fairburn is from Ashington near Newcastle, so quite possible that's he found a club back down south.

Fairly certain Wilcox wasn't on loan last season as he played for the U19s virtually every week and in most of our reserve matches as well. We have loaned a midfielder called Chris Dodd to North End this season though.

Coleman was freed last season. I believe McCafferty is still with the Alloa Youths.

East Fife released Gary Greenhill and Stevie Nicholas, whilst Jamie McGowan retired.

Mark Cairns has retired and is looking to get involved in goalkeeping coaching.
Paul McClory had a serious knee injury that he couldn't shake off and was advised to retire midway through last season.
Chris Colquhoun - Work commitments got in his way and as far as I know he has chucked football.
David Torrance - Is away to the USA on a scholarship, not sure how long he's away for.

I'm afraid I can't give you any assistance with the rest of the U17 players.

Also Jamie, you had Richard Bowers on your original released list, but he seems to have disappeared off it without a mention of a new club for him, have I missed something?

Re: Bowers, he turned up at Camelon. I've got the whereabouts for 4700 players & staff this season but it's a bit impractical to update with every move. I've just been taking people off the available list and updating as and when.

If anyone's interested in the 2008-09 'who is where' list I can put it up. Might crash the site though!

Yep thanks got that one - he's not on the list (don't think) because Mixu punted him a few weeks into the new season.
