Santa Coloma will be easy pushovers for Kaunas and I can't see Rangers slipping up against them. Rangers have being lucky in the draw as they could have ended up with Dinamo Zagreb or a trip to Kazakhstan.

There's the Captain of Rangers, at Manchester, the end of a European final....clutching a 1690 red hand of Ulster scarf.
Superb. Hope Kaunas or whoever hump their arse out of Europe pronto.
An embarassment to the country.... as always.

We had Kaunas the year Allan Johnston & co signed. We were meant to be playing Kaunas this stage last year aswell but Zeta bumped them out.

It would be a bloodbath if the huns had met Zagreb. Playing a Kazakh team doesn’t look an arduous task but I am not so sure the huns would have been jumping for joy if they had to go there to play. I certainly wouldn’t have bet on them to win the away tie.

Yeah, 'cause I'm sure he stopped to look at the textual content of the scarf before he picked it out of the dozens that were proferred his way.

Truthfully Kazakhstan is a hard draw as is any side from the old soviet states bar the baltic ones at this stage of the season as it is a long trip 7-8 hours flying and the teams are halfway through their season unlike Rangers who will be playing their first competitive draw. Aktobe, Pyunik and Inter Baku would have all being very hard draws for Rangers. Don't forget what happened to Celtic a couple of years back against Artmedia Brateslava

He wouldn't have to stop and look at the scarves thrown towards him if he was captain of just about any other football team on the planet. We threw scarves at our team when they won promotion to the SPL. They were black and white with 'St. Mirren' or 'Pride of Renfrewshire' on them.

Unfortunately a number of them that are proud to be part of BBB hold a keen interest in Celtic based on outdated and ignorant notions. Having spent an afternoon with them hanging around us in Budapest when we were there to play MTK, I have no doubts that were they to face the huns they wouldn’t hold back just as they didn’t hold back with the MTK supporters.
It was the worst European away day I have ever had, made all the worse due to actions of a section of Celtic supporters.
I can’t ever recall making any mention of the huns in Belgrade, nor would I have had any reason to do so.

That was one of the most pathetic performances I have seen in a while. We were basically playing the Lithuanians who aren't good enough to play for Hearts and couldn't even score. Make no mistake about it, this is a team which Rangers should be comfortably disposing of with minimum of effort and fuss.
Going forward we were pedestrian and lacked any sort of flair or cutting edge. Lee McCulloch should never have been signed in the first place, but surely now Smith must be able to see what a waste of space he is. Dailly has never been a footballer and never will be. A poor centre half asked to play in midfield. Shocking at best. Hemdani and Furman must be fuming at this diddies inclusion ahead of them. Adam was p*sh as usual, a few long range goals a season doesn't make up for his ineptitude.
Smith just kept on changing the strikers, but if there is no supply line and no chances being created, it doesn't matter who is up front. The sooner Smith and Murray leave the better. The club is in a terrible state and the manager's tactics and player signing policy are just a joke.

That would be a bit of a knee jerk reaction don't you think? He took you to a European final and to the verge of a title with, lets be honest, an average squad. It just highligths the fact that without Ferguson Rangers don't have anything. The guy carries Rangers through matches.
