Currently 6th IIRC with 23 games gone. Just beat Halifax with a last minute Lyle goal

Playing as Livingston, I had a friendly just before the season started against East Fife and thrashed them 6-1.

I draw them in the League Cup, and thought it would be another pounding. East Fife won 4-3 in penalties.

It said that for me when I was at Stirling against Shire a few months ago.

I went top after humping Morton 4-0, I then followed ot hump Cowdenbeath 3-0 then was knocked off the top by Stirling beating me 3-0

I started one with Morton not long ago. Walked the 2nd Division. I won it by about 25 points I think. Also won the challenge cup 1st season. Currently sitting top of the 1st in my 2nd season and in the semi's of the Scottish Cup against Hibs. I put Rangers out of the league cup before getting put out by Partick

I've signed David Martin (young goalkeeper from Liverpool), Ryan Garry (Arsenal), Gordon Greer, Mark Gilhaney, Neil Jancyk, Jamie Adams, Sw**kie, Stevie Murray, Jim Hamilton and Derek Carcary. Also got Finnbogasson, Lewis Stevenson and McGowan on loan from Celtic (my parent team).

Looking good for promotion to the SPL and my squad seems good enough to cope there I reckon.

One question though. Has anyone ever had a successful appeal for a red card? I appeal maybe 50% of mine and have NEVER had it overturned.

In FM 2005 I was Ross County v QOS in the CC Final and it was played at Claggan Park (I think thats Fort Williams ground) in front of about 800 people

If you can, buy Derek Carcary. Be willing to pay a lot. If he's stil at raith then he will definitly come to you, if not which is more likely stil try and get him. His favourite club is Queen's Park. He will score more than mcmanus

I've got Carcary for my Morton team and he was on fire in the 2nd Division, but he's been injured for most of the 2nd season in the 1st. I've turned down £200k bids from Sunderland and Charlton however.

I went for him at the start of the season and had the bid accepted and i gave him what he wanted for the contract but last min, a big team in the championship down south went in for him. if only they didnt for an extra day because it was like that day or next day i would have sealed the deal.

Don't go Morton. I found it too easy. 2 promotions in 2 seasons, only losing about 10 games in all competitions. I was then offered the Liverpool job without even applying for it, so I took it.

As for a challenge, why not go to some obscure league in some random country where you have no knowledge of the teams or players and start unemployed?

Fourth season at Ross Cty saw me finish 2nd in Division 1 for the 3rd season in a row and then disaster struck.

My scout indicated that Paul Dixon was out of contract and that he was a definate purchase so I got in there and signed him only to realise afterwards that I'd paid £250,000 in compensation (should have read all of the small print!!!!!!!!!) This left me skint and with only 14 first team players so it was bye bye to

Into my third season with St Mirren, having been relegated from the SPL in season 1, and finishing second in the First Division the following year (blowing a 10 point lead to finish 10 points behind). Over the summer, I've made £2.1 million on transfer fees alone (taking the total from two and a bit seasons to £3.7 million), and have signed Richie Jones and Adam Hammill on free transfers from Man Utd and Liverpool respectively, as well as Carl Finnigan and Alan McDonough as attacking back-up, and Ludovic Roy to be my first choice keeper again.

My board expect me to win the league, but the bookies have me as third favourites. Some more results like my first (and only) league game so far - a 4-0 demolition of Morton at Love street - will hopefully see me back in the SPL.

Started a new game as Elgin. First 6 games were hit and miss. Then went on a 10 game un-beaten run to go 2nd behind Stenhousmuir. Then 10 game losing run! Turned that around by playing Johnston upfront with Charlseworth behind him. Won the last 10 games to finish top by a point. Won 3 games on the trot 4-3.

Strengthened my team in the summer with no finances. I still went in for players that teams wanted 1,2 or 3K for and got them! i've got the scouts searching the U-19 and reserve leagues. remember that bit for later.

2nd season in the 2nd Div was ok. Played well and my signings did well. Tansey, Currie and Hodge and Ciaren Donnelly. Ended up 5th.

Now I've been tracking 3 players from Aberdeen u-19 and reserves. They look to be quite good players according to their stats so I've waited till their contracts were up. Aberdeen let them go and I swooped in and got 3 players for free that would have cost me £30K.

About to embark on 2nd Season in Div 2.

Anyone know how long it takes for players to get the 2nd Nationality so that they don't need a work permit? I've got a couple of young Brazilians on loan at one of my feeder teams and was just wondering how long it'll take for me to play them.

It depends on the country, it should tell you when you make the team your feeder clubs. Some countries can be as little as 2 years while others can be as much as 6.
