Started a new game with Queen of the South. No-one is expecting the team to stay up however with my squad I'm pretty confident of getting in the top half at the very least.

Pre-season started quite well with a 1-1 draw with Dundee Utd but then lost to Cambridge and Swansea so cancelled my last pre-season game and instead played Wick and Annan just to give my players some confidence going into the season.

First game of the season was away to Hamilton with a very poor first-half I was tempted to change it at half-time but left it for 2 minutes until they scored their second then made a triple sub off went strikers Weir & Dobbie and right winger Joe Anyinsah and I brought on Allan Walker, Paul McManus and Andy Barrowan as well as changing from a slow passing game to a more high paced direct style and f**k did it work 20 minutes later I was 3-2 up goals from my sub strikers, Hamilton brought the game level wiht 5 minutes to go but Jamie Adams scored to give me the win.

My second game was home against the Shire in the league cup and 5 goals in each half and 8 between McManus & Barrowman gave me an easy win.

Out of they players Gibson has been released and Farrington, Calder, Rudden, Startosta, Nimmo, McGlinchey and Shinnie are either reserve or under 19 players.

I usually just go on holiday for the game instead of watching it if I have a touchline ban. Since you don't get to do any team-talks subsitutes etc.. there's no real point watching the game and doesn't help if your assistant fucks about wiht your formation

I dont have an assistant manager, f**k knows who took the team. We lost 3-2 though

I'm in very good form with my Shire team in the 1st division, four seasons into my game. Currently sitting fifth after 22 games, a point off third, and a cup tie at Ibrox to look forward to. My front pairing of Gary Glen and Jason Pope is lethal

Boghead is now houses

I had a new stadium built for the start of the current season. The U19's and reserves play league matches at my old stadium, unless it is a cup game, where they play at my new stadium. The U19's had a home cup game the same day I had a home league game, and I was re-located to my old stadium, and it on the fixture list, it says all of my remaining games will be played there!

Regarding the patch mentioned in previous posts, is this an update for the game?

Also when i download the patch, How do i go about putting it onto the game so it works?

Just run it and the patch should find where you installed the game and install automatically

Extract the RAR file to - C:, then Program Files, Sports Interactive, Football Manager 2007, data, graphics, pictures, players.

Made it to January in a game with Hibs and sit 2nd in the Premier League firmly in the Championship hunt. I've been on a brilliant run in which Scott Brown has netted 8 goals in 13 games and the results have been something like this in the past month or so:

Falkirk (A) - 6v0
Rangers (H) - 4v1
Celtic (H) - 1v1
Dundee Utd (H) - 3v1 (CIS Cup Quarter)
Dunfermline (A) - 2v0
St Mirren (H) - 3v0
Hearts (A) - 3v1

My European run was ended in the 1st Round proper of the UEFA Cup against Panathaniakos after I lost 5-3 at Easter Road. Chris Killen scored a hattrick in a 3-1 win in Greece but ended up crashing, guttingly on Away Goals.

So doing pretty well so far with an attacking 4-3-3 formation. Killen, Sproule and Brown up front have been immense.

Started a league as Accrington stanley. Had a horrid 1st season where i just avoided relegation. Brought in a few loan deals and made league one which i stormed through. New board gave me the chance to make new signings which led me into the championship. By this time the offers were flying in so i decided to go the recently relegated Reading. Won the championship, then came 10th, then 8th. Then out of nowhere an offer comes for the Greece job,which i took. The march continues!

I would probably be sitting in that kind of position if my strikers would learn how to score one-on-ones

How do you set up your strikers instructions? I just can't seem to get it sorted, I make umpteen chances but they don't convert most of the time.

Bad times for my Granit City boys,

finished the 1st season in 4th and made the Intertonto, signed Neil Alexander on a Bosman and so sold Alan McGregor, this left me with no 1st choice keeper when the Intertonto started a week before the Bosman of Alexander came through. Made it to the 1st round of UEFA cup where I lost 7-1 at home to Fiorentina

Had to sell Lee Miller to Hearts for £100,000 as he would not sign a new contract but managed to pick up David Clarkson from Motherwell and he has scored 20 goals in 32 games. Have reached the split in my 2nd season in 6th and am struggling with no money and a stretched squad, I have no midfield reserves as I sent them all out on loan!!

Gavin Rae is away to Partick on a free at the end of the season, Craig Conway has been flogged on a pre-contract to St.Mirren for £65k (I'm signing two wingers in the summer and need the space) and I'm letting go 6 of my youth/former youth players.

Anderson and Severin are moving into the last year of their contracts, Burchill can't score to save himself and Touzani wants £11k a week to re-sign.

I'm thinking of flogging off all the original Aberdeen players and replacing them with cheap replacements over the summer to bring down the level of expectation.

Most of my goals have came from Brown and Sproule hitting the byelines and crossing, Killen is immense at headers and knocks it into the net regularly and if not Thomson who makes a lot of late runs, knocks them in.

Just put the two folders in skins, so it's alongside flexion and flexion right. Each folder in 'skins' is a seperate skin itself.

I have just bought a couple of youngsters with amazing potential and 2 backup loan signings, but they seem to always be lacking in match fitness. They are obviously not playing in matches and as I don't think they are good enough to play in my first-team I would like to know how to ensure they get their game in the reserves and under 19s

move all the players out of the squad except the ones you want to play

or you can control the team yourself

put them in the reserve team out of the 1st team and it will keep them sharp

simplest way is to take control of the reserves teams yourself or to reduce the squads so that he has to play them

Yep it does but you can also tell the assistant to keep the same team that you have selected for the reserves/under 19's.

i went into 2021 (im not sad, i went on holiday for most of it) anyway the pars ended in the second division but the rovers were in division three. The hearts youth at the start of the game branamir kosstandinov (something like that) well he ends up the best striker in the SPL

Very good site, although 1 thing buggered up my game. The names of the German teams are not what they should be, for example I had Bayern Munich coming up as Munchen and Borussia Dortmund coming up as just Dortmund. I think it took all the German teams and changed the names to the city they play in for some reason, weird like.

Other than that it's all amazing
